Hello! My name is Maverick but most people call me Rave as it is my nickname. I am a Catholic and my favourite saint is Saint Francis De Sales, patron of writers. I am a second year student currently studying both English Literature and Film Studies at the University of British Columbia. I began this blog two years ago in an attempt to document my life and the certain experiences that have inspired me to write about them; I had never imagined it to go as far as it has gone in terms of the number of posts I try my best to craft. I have dreams of one day writing a novel and taking part in a movie production but those things are all in the future. For now, I hope to both entertain and share with you my life with these words of mine. The past has been written and all we have is today and our words; floating onwards and upwards to the uncertain yet hopeful beauty of tomorrow.
